VERITAS プライバシーポリシー

本ポリシーは、macOS用オーディオプレーヤー「VERITAS」に適用されます。
1. 基本方針
VERITASは、ユーザーが選択したMac上の音楽ファイルを、原則としてそのMac上で処理します。
本ポリシーの発効日時点のVERITASには、開発者がアプリからユーザーデータを自動的に受信または収集するための広告SDK、解析SDK、クラッシュレポート送信サービス、VERITAS独自のユーザーアカウント、クラウド音楽ライブラリ、音声ファイルのアップロード機能はありません。
2. ローカルファイルとmacOSの許可
VERITASは、ユーザーがファイル選択、フォルダ選択、またはドラッグ＆ドロップで指定したファイルとフォルダを処理します。アクセスは、macOSのApp Sandboxとユーザーが与えた許可の範囲内で行われます。
一度選択した場所への許可を再利用するため、セキュリティスコープ付きbookmarkをMac上に保存する場合があります。ファイルやフォルダを移動・改名した場合や、現在の許可範囲外にあるファイルを開く場合には、再選択が必要になることがあります。
3. Mac上に保存される情報
VERITASは動作のため、次のような情報をMac上に保存する場合があります。
- RecentとFavoritesの場所
- セキュリティスコープ付きbookmarkなどのファイルアクセス許可情報
- VERITAS内で作成または取り込んだプレイリストと、そこから参照されるローカルファイルの場所
- Exclusive Mode、Digital Volume、バッファ、プリロードなどの設定
- Trialや購入状態の判定に必要なローカル補助情報
これらはアプリのローカルデータであり、VERITASのリモートユーザープロフィールとして開発者のサーバーへ送信されるものではありません。
4. Appleのサービス
Mac App Store版は、商品情報の取得、購入、購入権利の確認、取引の更新、購入の復元にApple StoreKitを使用します。これらの処理ではAppleのサービスと通信する場合があります。購入とApple Accountに関する情報はAppleにより管理され、Appleによるデータの取扱いにはAppleのプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
VERITASの開発者が、Apple Accountのパスワードや支払情報をアプリから取得することはありません。
5. Music/iTunesからの取り込み
ユーザーが明示的に取り込みを選んだ場合、VERITASはmacOSの「メディアとApple Music」へのアクセス許可を使用して、Music/iTunesのプレイリスト情報を読み取ることがあります。
取り込んだプレイリストはMac上のローカルなスナップショットとして保存されます。Music/iTunesとの自動同期や、開発者のサーバーへの送信は行いません。
6. サポート診断情報
診断情報は、ユーザーがVERITASのメニューから Help > Export Support Diagnostics… を選んだ場合にだけ、ユーザーが指定した場所へ保存されます。通常の利用中に自動作成または自動送信されることはありません。
診断ファイルには、VERITASとmacOSのバージョン、Macのアーキテクチャ、Sandbox、購入状態の区分、出力・再生・ファイル形式に関する技術情報などが含まれる場合があります。
完全な音楽ファイルのパス、パスのハッシュ、セキュリティスコープ付きbookmarkの生データ、音楽ライブラリの一覧は意図的に含めていません。ユーザーはファイルの内容を確認し、必要な場合だけサポートへ送ることができます。
7. サポートへ任意に送信される情報
ユーザーが問い合わせメッセージや診断ファイルをサポートへ任意に送った場合、開発者は、問い合わせへの回答、問題の調査、必要なフォローアップのためにその情報を使用します。法令上の保存義務がある場合を除き、これらの目的に合理的に必要な期間を超えて保持しない方針です。
Apple Accountのパスワード、支払情報、音楽ファイルは送らないでください。また、公開投稿に個人情報を記載しないでください。
現在のお問い合わせ窓口にはWordPressのContactフォームを使用しています。フォームに入力した名前、メールアドレス、メッセージ等は、問い合わせへの対応に必要な情報として開発者へ送信されます。WordPress上での情報の取扱いには、運営元であるAutomatticのプライバシーポリシーも適用されます。
8. 情報の管理と削除
ローカルの設定、bookmark、Recent、Favorites、プレイリストなどはユーザーのMac上に保持されます。アプリ内で削除できる項目は、該当する削除操作で管理できます。開発者はこれらのローカルデータへ遠隔からアクセスしたり、削除したりすることはできません。
サポートへ任意に送信した情報について、開発者が保持する情報の確認または削除を希望する場合は、下記の窓口へお問い合わせください。外部サービス側で保持される情報については、各サービスのポリシーと操作方法が適用されます。
9. このポリシーを掲載するWebサイト
このページには独自のアクセス解析を設定していません。ページはGitHub Pagesで提供され、表示にGoogle FontsやjsDelivr等の外部配信サービスを使用する場合があります。ページを閲覧すると、IPアドレスやブラウザ情報などの技術情報が各提供者へ送信される場合があります。これらの情報は各提供者のポリシーに従って取り扱われます。
このWebサイト上の技術的な通信は、VERITASアプリからのデータ収集とは別のものです。
10. 本ポリシーの変更
VERITASの機能、利用する外部サービス、または法的要件が変わった場合、本ポリシーを更新することがあります。重要な変更がある場合は、発効日または更新日を変更し、このページで案内します。

VERITAS Privacy Policy

This policy applies to VERITAS, an audio player for macOS.
1. Basic approach
VERITAS generally processes music files selected by the user on that user’s Mac.
As of the effective date of this policy, VERITAS does not include an advertising SDK, analytics SDK, automatic crash-reporting service, independent VERITAS user account, cloud music library, or audio-file upload feature that would allow the developer to automatically receive or collect user data from the app.
2. Local files and macOS permission
VERITAS processes files and folders that the user chooses through file or folder selection or drag and drop. Access remains within the macOS App Sandbox and the permission granted by the user.
VERITAS may store security-scoped bookmarks on the Mac so that previously granted access can be reused. A file or folder may need to be selected again after it is moved or renamed, or when it is outside the current authorization scope.
3. Information stored on the Mac
To operate, VERITAS may store information such as:
- Recent and Favorite locations;
- security-scoped bookmarks and other file-access authorization state;
- playlists created or imported in VERITAS and the local file locations referenced by them;
- preferences such as Exclusive Mode, Digital Volume, buffer, and preload settings; and
- local supporting state needed to determine Trial or purchase status.
This is local application data. It is not sent to a developer-operated server as a remote VERITAS user profile.
4. Apple services
The Mac App Store version uses Apple StoreKit to load product information, make purchases, check entitlements, receive transaction updates, and restore purchases. These operations may communicate with Apple services. Purchase and Apple Account information is managed by Apple and is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
The VERITAS developer does not obtain Apple Account passwords or payment information from the app.
5. Music/iTunes import
When the user explicitly chooses to import, VERITAS may use the macOS Media & Apple Music permission to read Music/iTunes playlist information.
Imported playlists are stored as local snapshots on the Mac. They are not synchronized automatically with Music/iTunes or sent to a developer-operated server.
6. Support diagnostics
Diagnostics are saved to a user-selected location only when the user chooses Help > Export Support Diagnostics… in VERITAS. They are not created or sent automatically during ordinary use.
The file may contain technical information such as the VERITAS and macOS versions, Mac architecture, Sandbox state, purchase-state category, and output, playback, and file-format facts.
Complete music-file paths, path hashes, raw security-scoped bookmark data, and music-library listings are intentionally omitted. The user can review the file and decide whether to send it to support.
7. Information voluntarily sent to support
If a user voluntarily sends a support message or diagnostic file, the developer uses that information to respond, investigate the issue, and provide necessary follow-up. Except where retention is legally required, the intent is not to keep it longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Do not send an Apple Account password, payment information, or audio files. Do not include personal information in a public post.
The current support contact uses a WordPress contact form. A name, email address, message, and other information entered in the form are sent to the developer as needed to respond to the inquiry. Information handled on WordPress is also subject to the privacy policy of its operator, Automattic.
8. Managing and deleting information
Local preferences, bookmarks, Recent and Favorite locations, and playlists remain on the user’s Mac. Items for which the app provides a delete action can be managed with that action. The developer cannot remotely access or delete this local data.
To ask about access to or deletion of information voluntarily sent to the developer for support, use the contact below. Information retained by an external service is managed under that service’s policy and controls.
9. Website hosting this policy
No independent analytics service is configured for this page. It is hosted with GitHub Pages and may use externally delivered resources such as Google Fonts and jsDelivr. When the page is viewed, technical connection information such as an IP address or browser information may be sent to those providers and handled under their respective policies.
This technical website traffic is separate from data collection by the VERITAS app.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if VERITAS features, external services, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective or revision date on this page.
